Some days, you need a moment to catch your breath. Some days, a conversation stays with you long after it ends. Other days, you want to appreciate what is good, feel closer to someone you love, or put the day down and rest.
Dear Friends makes room for those moments.
Here you’ll find meditations, reflections, prayers, affirmations, music, and sounds for sleep and rest. Each offers a different way to spend time with what you’re experiencing.
A meditation might bring your attention back to your breath, your body, or the world around you. A reflection might help you understand a familiar reaction or consider something from another perspective. An affirmation might give you words you want to practice returning to. A prayer might help you express gratitude, ask for help, or speak honestly about what you’re carrying.
Sometimes, music or the sound of rain is enough.
There is room here for difficult feelings and unanswered questions, and for joy, curiosity, connection, and ordinary days. You can choose what meets you where you are.
The spirit of Dear Friends is the spirit of a thoughtful friendship: warmth, honesty, room to speak freely, and a willingness to look a little closer. That includes noticing what is good, acknowledging what hurts, and considering where something might need to change.
My own spiritual life is part of what I bring to this work. In prayers, I use the words “Dear God.” For me, God means a universal intelligence or consciousness present within and throughout life. That is my understanding; you are free to hold your own.
Dear Friends is not affiliated with a religion or denomination. Prayer is an optional part of the library, and many pieces make no reference to God. You can use what speaks to you and leave what doesn’t.
My hope is that the time you spend here helps you feel more present in your own life—with greater understanding, kindness, and room to choose how you respond.

Dear Friends is a resource for reflection, contemplative practice, spirituality, and rest. It is not therapy, medical treatment, addiction treatment, or a substitute for professional care.
Some pieces may explore difficult subjects from personal experience, but they are not intended to diagnose or treat a condition.
I choose the subjects, shape the ideas and structure of each piece, personally revise the writing, record the narration, and make the final decisions about what is published.
I also use AI-assisted writing and editorial tools during the creative process to help explore ideas, challenge drafts, and refine language.
The experiences, perspective, direction, and final judgment behind the work remain personal.
Yes. The recordings are my own natural voice, made in a professional home studio.
